You will also receive a discernment reflection sheet to help you organize your thoughts, process your conversations, and prayerfully discern your next steps after each interaction.

Step into the warmth of the season and join us for a Christmas Tea & Speed Dating Social — a cozy evening of faith, fellowship, and festive connection!
Enjoy a selection of seasonal teas and freshly baked scones, surrounded by soft candlelight, holiday music, and meaningful conversation. This Christ-centered gathering invites you to slow down from the busyness of the season and open your heart to authentic connection.
You’ll rotate through guided mini-conversations designed to spark genuine dialogue — rooted in faith, virtue, and joy. Each conversation will include a thoughtful question to help you discover shared values and intentions beyond small talk.
Whether you’re new to intentional dating or simply open to meeting other singles who share your love for Christ, this evening offers a welcoming space to connect, laugh, and maybe even find a spark of something special this Christmas season.

Dress Code: Festive & classy Christmas attire — think cozy, elegant, and joyful!
How Speed Dating works:
Men will move from table to table and the women will stay seated. You will have around six minutes to speak with each person. The matching process will take place over Speed Match, a platform for Matchmaking.
Once you have registered for the event, a form link will open. Please complete the form in order to complete your registration.
- Event begins: Come ready to check in promptly! You will receive a text to confirm you’re attendance. Then, you will be prompted to set up your username and password in the “Smart Match App.” Your information will be saved for future events. Please come on time as late attendants will not be able to participate.
- 20 minutes in: Talk with one another as we wait for everyone to attend. There will be a Bingo Game as an ice breaker activity to get to one another to play.
- 30 minutes in: Once everyone arrives, Monica will give a short talk on the Intentional Dating and Discernment process. You will receive a text which provides your assigned table number. Women will stay seated during the event. Men will be notified after each mini date regarding which table to move to.
You’ll receive a deck of “Intentional Dating Questions” to help spark meaningful conversations, build connection, and discern whether the person you’re meeting aligns with what you’re seeking.
You’ll also be given a structured notes sheet to jot down reflections and insights for thoughtful discernment after each mini-date. - End of the Night: You’ll probably leave with the a bit of excitement in your heart after the connection ends! I encourage everyone to continue and build the connection afterward by going to another establishment and getting to one another!
- The next morning: You will receive an email that will remind you to choose your final matches.
- The next evening: The final matches will be sent out.
- Your first date: If all goes well, take a picture and send it to Monica to receive a gift card in the mail!
