Jesus said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” Simon said in reply, “Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets. When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were tearing” Luke, Chapter 5
Throw Out Your Net and Date, Date and Date
Throwing out your net means dating, a lot. Go on dates with men who are interested in you. Even if you aern’t 100% sure that it is a perfect match, go on the date anyway. If anything, the real life dating experience will help you clarify what you are looking for and even what you aern’t looking for. Plus, at the very least you might meet a new friend.
Although it is great to have prioritIes of what you are looking for in a single, don’t be rigid. Go on the date! Let go and let God. Meaning, have faith in God to make the final decision.
How to meet other singles, you ask?
1). Ask family and friends if they know anyone who they could introduce you to.
This is not desperate! This is networking! And who knows you better then family and friends?
2). Go out!
Now that the quarantine is edging to a close, go out! Go to coffee shops, festivals, concerts, church events and the list goes on and on!
3). Be aware when you go out.
Did you just have a great connection with a single you just met? Did you just bump into someone you would like to get to know more? Sometimes these events could be synchronicity, or God’s way of nudging you into a certain direction. Open your mind…and heart!
Most importantly have fun.
Dating is much more pleasant if you enjoy the journey and not just the destination.
